The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary is pleased to announce its next session of the their Business Breakfast Series that is open to the public with the topic Situation and Prospects of the Hungarian Economy in 2023-2024.
The Equilibrium Institute is Hungary’s independent think tank. In order to renew the political discourse in Hungary, they draft political, economic and cultural future vision and write detailed policy proposal and strategies based on these visions. They engage in on ongoing dialogue with the most important political, economic and cultural decision-makers.
The domestic and international environment is currently affected by many rapidly changing circumstances. The independent think tank’s economic forecast, publish quarterly mainly supports the decision-making of economic actors and public policymakers. Based on the macro figures for the period between 2022 and 2024, Hungary can expect growth in line with European trends, but probably worse growth and higher inflation.
Mr. Zsolt Becsey will talk about, among others, the effect of the international energy market on the domestic economy, as well as economic risk and prospects for this year and 2024.
